Vivid Tools specializes in the Joomla! content management system, a popular and easy to use open-source system with a large community of developers and users. By using Joomla! as our primary cms we allow our clients to take control of their own web site and easily make content or design modifications with little or no technical skills.

In mid-2006 Vivid Tools released one of the first popular Joomla! slideshow components, the Vivid Content extension. Due to the overwhelming popularity the extension was completely rebuilt in late 2007.
