There have been several posts on the forum asking if the Vivid Content extension has been abandoned.

We would like to reassure our previous and future customers that the Vivid Content extension has not been abandoned. Since its release, we have not found any major bugs in version 2.5.4. Some of our customers are having problems installing the extension. This is mostly because of an improper sever configuration. Please remember Vivid Content requires PHP 5 and Zend Optimizer. There have been no updates for several months but we hope to release a new version and hopefully some new Vivid Content Styles soon. Custom Vivid Content Styles are available upon request and typically cost anywhere from $50 to $250.
